It is important that you replace and maintain your spray booth filters regularly and don’t wait until you have maintenance checks carried out. It is recommended that you replace the filters in your spray booth at regular intervals, this can vary between 100 and 250 running hours, depending on the type of extraction used in your spray booth. There are a number of factors to take into account when considering how long is an appropriate amount of time to leave between each filter change; type and amount of material sprayed, type of filter, outside ambient air as well as manufacturer recommendations.
