Transforming spray booth energy management
measure, monitor & manage
eM3 Energy Control Systems with advanced software to log, analyse, and optimise energy consumption for maximum efficiency, cost savings and reduction of carbon emissions – Fully retrofittable to any make or age of spray booth
- Tracks real-time energy usage and performance through network connected digital gas and electric meters
- Designed to quantify energy use and identify inefficiencies
- Reports displayed on multiple devices
- Fully retro-fittable to any make or age of spray booth
- Tracks carbon emissions per job, per day, per week, per year
How eM3 works
eM3 is a combination of specifically designed hardware and software, installed on individual spray booths comprising of:
- PLC and colour touch screen HMI
- Data transfer unit with dedicated sim card
- Digital gas and electric meters
- Control system interface to link to any spray booth
- Bespoke software to capture real-time data
- Remote access to web based dashboard
AGm Services is recognised as an ARIES approved supplier. This demonstrates our commitment to supporting vehicle repairers in reducing carbon emissions through environmentally responsible products and services. Our eM3 Control System also contributes to transparent carbon tracking, reporting, and operational improvements in line with ARIES certification standards
STEP 1: MEASURE
eM3 example showing a breakdown of data per job. Additional data is listed in the specific job reports.
STEP 2: MONITOR
By monitoring the data provided you can compare jobs and identify any inefficient working practices.
- Compare one job to another
- Track idle time
- Monitor production output
- Review set point temperatures
STEP 3: MANAGE
Using the data available, managers are able to optimise spray booth efficiency by:
- Reducing idle and standby time to improve productivity
- Ensuring correct set point temperatures are used to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions
- Implementing process and procedure changes for optimal efficiency
- Accurately evaluating individual paint systems

Dashboard
Real-time energy monitoring dashboard displaying gas and electricity usage, costs, and CO2 emissions across your sites. Use the filters above to view data for specific locations and date ranges. Key performance metrics help track energy efficiency and operational costs.
Site Filter
Choose which site or location you want to view data for. This will update all dashboard statistics to show only the selected site's energy usage, costs, and performance metrics.
Date Range Filter
Select the time period you want to analyze. This will refresh all dashboard data including energy costs, usage totals, and averages to show information for your chosen date range.
Gas Usage & Costs
Shows total gas expenditure, energy consumption in kWh, and CO2 emissions from gas usage. This includes heating, equipment operation, and any gas-powered processes across all selected sites and date range.
Electricity Usage & Costs
Displays total electricity costs, power consumption in kWh, and CO2 emissions from electrical usage. Covers all electrical equipment, lighting, and power consumption for the selected period.
Total Energy Overview
Combined summary of all energy costs, total kWh consumption, and CO2 emissions from both gas and electricity. Provides a complete picture of your energy footprint.
Equipment Activity
Shows the number of equipment start/stop cycles and total number of jobs completed. Higher start/stops may indicate frequent equipment cycling or operational inefficiencies.
Spraybooth Operating Hours
Total hours the spraybooth has been in active use. This metric helps track productivity and equipment utilization efficiency for spray operations.
Performance Averages
Key performance indicators including average job cost, carbon footprint per job, and external air temperature. These metrics help benchmark efficiency and environmental conditions.
