Spray Booth Legislative Testing FAQs
What are the requirements for a spray booth?
Regular testing and maintenance help ensure your spray booths and spray rooms continue to eliminate contaminants in the air before people breathe them. It is a legal requirement for any employer who uses spray booths to ensure that they are in good working order and that they are tested on a regular basis. LEV testing is required once every 14 months at the very least.
Do you need planning permission for a spray booth?
Almost every style of spray booth or room requires planning permission. It must also follow current rules, particularly those governing fume venting, filtering, and ventilation.
